LUBRICANTS OPERATIONS, COMPLIANCE & TRAINING

The core functions of this business unit are:

• Manufacture of quality lubricants (engine oils and greases).
• Distribute same to customer locations nationwide.
• Import specialty lubricants, where necessary, to meet the need of consumers.
• Train company Retail outlet personnel on proper customer service.

To achieve the above roles, the company owns and operates a lubricant blending plant located at the Apapa area of Lagos, with the following facilities:

• 23.9 million liters annual capacities lube plant.
• 1.3 million kilograms annual capacities grease plant.
• 7.3 million liters annual capacities tank farm storage.
• Finished-Goods warehouses located in Apapa, Enugu, Kaduna, Port Harcourt, and Warri; and a new one in the offing in Kano.

The range of lubricants manufactured at the plant includes:

• Automotive/Industrial engine oils.
• Hydraulic oils.
• Gear oils (both automotive and industrial).
• Turbine oils.
• Marine oils.
• Greases (both automotive and industrial)

These products are available in various pack sizes to meet the needs of various consumers, such as, 4 liter gallons, 25 liter Kegs, 208 liter drums,  0.4 KG and 50 KG (for greases).

The department  operates its manufacturing plant and warehouses safely, in line with company HES policy of ‘zero incidents is attainable’, through regular staff training and provision of the right working tools for our staff. We focus also on the provision of quality products and services to our customers nationwide.

Healthy products inventories are made available in the lubricants warehouses in a timely manner to meet customer needs. The products we manufacture have the MANCAP certification of SON.
